Who Should Participate?

The summit is for First Responders (paid and volunteer) their families, loved ones and support network. First Responders include anyone who has ever been part of a response to a crisis – as part of the community, public or private sector, working with humans, animals or nature, or providing services.

All events are online and free to all. They will include presentations, workshops and facilitated discussions. All sessions will be recorded and can be accessed here following the event.

Why Attend?

The summit will facilitate Connection, Hope and Community in the following ways:

  • Challenge you to think about what contributes to YOUR wellbeing and how to proactively manage it.

  • Provide support on how to navigate your unique needs with solutions from proactive and constructive resources, support networks, associations and peers.

  • Provide hope by sharing a wide range of approaches, tools, resources and strategies that may be part of the solutions you seek.

  • Build a community of shared stories of lived experience, showing how others have dealt with similar issues and how they’ve found a way through them to thrive.

  • Encourage you to connect with your peer network - so you feel understood, supported and connected to a larger community with similar wellbeing challenges.
