Rima Nasr, Clinical & Forensic Psychologist, Fortem Australia

Rima Nasr is a clinical and forensic psychologist with extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of emergency personnel, first responders and their families.  She conducts assessments, reports, treatment and diagnosis for individuals and families within the community, criminal justice system, civil and child protection domains and in vocational contexts.  She works with individuals across the lifespan, understanding complex needs and presenting problems.  In her work, Rima contributes to agency priorities in areas such as organisational health, security, complex case assessments and analysis.  She provides training and professional development such as supervision related to disaster response, trauma and wellbeing.  Rima has worked as a consultant security psychologist for the National Intelligence Community and within a supervisory role for other law enforcement and regulatory bodies. Rima is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and Colleges of Forensic and Clinical Psychologists, a member with the Australian New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL) and an associate clinical member of the Australia and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA).  She is also an accredited counsellor with the NSW Children’s Commission Child Sex Offender Counsellor Accreditation Scheme at a clinical level with adults and adolescents, in addition to being an authorised counsellor with the Children’s Court Clinic and Victims Services.
